Rani stars Kami Sid, who plays a toy vendor planning to adopt an abandoned child. From there, the tale is a unique story about a Pakistani transgender woman who faces many challenges, yet is determined to do the right thing. The story is also set in the heart of Karachi.

Kami is a model and activist who hopes to awaken viewers to the fact that transgender's are a part of society and can earn a respectable living just like any other citizen.
