Appointment: NIB Bank elects new chairman
Roland Teo Cheng San has been elected as new chairman of the board.
KARACHI:
The board of directors of NIB Bank Limited announced on Monday that Roland Teo Cheng San has been elected as new chairman of the board. The appointment of San will be effective from August 1 after current chairman of the bank Francis Rozario completes his six-year term, according to a statement issued by the bank. San, a Singaporean national, has been member of the board since March 2010 and brings with him more than 20 years of international banking experience with institutions such as Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank. Amongst various positions he held during his banking career, San was Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank in Taiwan and also held the position of Regional Head Consumer Banking for North Asia.
