Sardar Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar suffered a cardiac arrest

Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Sardar Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar on Tuesday passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. He was 52.
Mahar served as the Sindh Chief Minister from 2002 to 2004 and won the last General election from his home constituency, Khangarh as an independent. He joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after te elections and was appointed to the federal ministry as Federal Minister for Narcotics Control.
Political leaders have expressed grief over the demise of the minister.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressesd deep sorrow and grief over the death of Mahar and extended his sympathy to the bereaved family.
Pakistan Peoples' Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed sorrow and grief over the demise of the federal minister and extended condolences and sympathy to the mourning family.
Interior Minister Ejaz Shah and CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Barrister Murtuza Wahab, adviser to CM Sindh also extended condolences to the family over Mahar's untimely death.
