FAISALABAD: Punjab will export 1.9 million tons of wheat this year, of which 750,000 tons have already been exported, according to a spokesperson for the provincial food department on Monday. Around 3.8 million tons of wheat was procured during the recent campaign, which is far greater than the province’s requirements, the spokesperson added.
