Overdose: Body found from sewer

FAISALABAD: A dead body was recovered from a sewerage line near Dera Sain graveyard in the Ghulam Muhmmad Abad police station precincts. On Monday, police officials identified the victim as Irfan Arshad, 25. Arshad, a resident of Kanak Basti, was reportedly a chronic drug addict. Police officials said that the man had slipped and fell into a sewer line near the Dera Sain graveyard. “No one knew about the incident at the time and his body was discovered later on,” Inspector Rashid Karimullah said. Residents discovered the body on Monday morning and informed the police. Police officials have taken the body into custody and started an investigation.
