Foundation stone of energy project laid
Will provide energy through solar system and biogas
VEHARI:
Provincial Minister for Energy Dr Akhtar Malik laid the foundation stone of a pilot project for energy generation through solar system and biogas at Chak No 563/EB. The project would be completed at a cost of Rs230 million by the end of the year and it would provide energy and biogas to the area people on cheaper rates. The minister said that shortage of electricity and gas could be met by establishing alternative resources of energy, and work in this regard would be started at gross-roots level. He said that benefits of the Punjab government’s welfare projects would reach the public soon.
