Officials, politicians attend funeral prayers of Usama Qamar, his friend in Nogaza village
Usama Qamar, son of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira who had passed away in a road accident yesterday, was laid to rest amid tears and sobs in his native village in Lalamusa on Saturday.
A large number of people including officials and politicians attended funeral prayers of Usama and his friend Hamza Butt in the Punjab town. They were later laid to rest in Nogaza village, Express News reported.

PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid, PM’s aide Yousuf Baig Mirza, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, former premier Yousuf Raza Gilani and PM’s adviser Usman Dar among other notables attended the funeral.
Usama and his friend Hamza, on the way back from Kharian, lost control of the car and rammed it into a roadside tree just a few kilometres away from home in Lalamusa on Friday. They both died on the spot.
