PPP leader Kaira's son dies in road accident

A teenage son of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira died in a road accident in his hometown Lalamusa, Punjab on Friday.

Rescue sources said Usama Qamar's vehicle was moving at a high speed when it rammed into a tree, resulting in fatal injuries.



Kaira was informed of the accident during a press conference.



The deceased was a student at the Government College Lahore.

Condolences

Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic death.




“Army chief General Qamar Bajwa also expressed “heartfelt grief” over the sad demise.

“May Allah give strength to bereaved parents and family to bear this irreparable loss” he was quoted as saying by the ISPR.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed heartfelt sympathy for the bereaved parents, and prayed for fortitude to the family to bear the loss.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari also expressed deep sympathy with the family.




Sherry Rehman termed the tragedy a "terrible loss for any parent and family".



“Extremely saddened to hear the tragic news of death of Kaira sb’s son,” tweeted Maryam Nawaz.
