Lucky couple wins third $1m lottery in five years

Couple plans to use the money to help family and friends

A couple from Massachusetts has one a $1 million lottery jackpot for the third time in less than five years, reported Khaleej Times.

Janet Pflaumer-Phillips won the top price of $1 million on a $30 Diamond millions scratch-off ticket, said Massachusetts Lottery officials.

The winning ticket was bought from an A&A Petro store located in Middleborough.


Phillip's husband, Kevin, purchased the last two winning scratch-off tickets in April 2014 and September 2016 respectively.

The couple has won $3 million over the span of five years.

When asked how they plan to spend their latest prize, Janet said that they will use the recently won money to help friends and family.
