Man shot dead over old enmity
Police registered a case and started an investigation

A man was shot dead while another suffered injuries in Bhalwal police limits on Thursday. Police said that Muhammad Arshad, a resident of Ajnala Lok village had an on-going enmity with his relative Abdullah over a piece of land. On the day of incident, the accused Abdullah allegedly shot dead Arshad and injured his brother Muhammad Abbas when they were travelling on a motorbike near Ajnala Adda and managed to escape from the scene. The injured was shifted to DHQ hospital. Police registered a case and started investigation.
