Punjab CM approves e-transfer policy for teachers
In case of any grievances, teachers will be able to register complaints, says Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar gave his formal approval for an e-transfer policy for teachers.
Reportedly, the Punjab School Education Department decided to introduce an online system for the transfers of instructors working at government schools.
Speaking during a meeting at his office on Wednesday, the chief minister said that the new policy would save time and ensure that each posting is made purely on merit. He stated that in the case of any grievances, teachers will be able to register complaints, adding that the service delivery will be improved because of the new system.
Teachers will no longer have to shuffle to and from offices for recommendations and money will not have to be paid, he maintained. “The e-transfer policy will introduce transparency and ensure merit in the education system,” he expressed.
In addition, the chief minister directed that a comprehensive policy should be devised for postings in remote areas.
He called for a feasible strategy to ensure teachers’ attendance at schools in Cholistan, Murree, Thal and other far-flung areas.
“Similarly, cleanliness should also be monitored at schools,” he said.
The chief minister was briefed about the e-transfer policy. During the meeting, it was revealed that certified data of all instructors at government schools has been collected.
Punjab School Education Minister Muraad Raas and other officials were also present.
