PSB-I meeting approves promotions of 242 officers in Punjab
In six months, 433 officers of different provincial departments promoted to grades 19, 20 and 21
LAHORE:
A meeting of the Provincial Selection Board One (PSB-I) recommended the promotion of 242 officers, including 207 doctors, to the next grades.
During the tenure of Punjab Chief Secretary Yousuf Naseem Khokhar, six PSB-1 meetings have been conducted in last six months. As many as 433 officers of different provincial departments have been promoted to grades 19, 20 and 21.
The meeting, held at the Chief Secretary’s Office in the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday, reviewed promotion cases of officers of different provincial departments in grade 19 and 20.
Those recommended for promotion to grade 20 include 207 general cadre doctors of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare department, four officers of Communication and Works, and one officer each of the Excise and Higher Education departments.
