Gangster awarded 17-year imprisonment
He was arrested in an injured condition after a police encounter

An Anti-Terrorism Court awarded 17 years imprisonment to a gangster from Lyari in a case pertaining to police encounter on Wednesday. The court announced its decision after the crime was proved against Moosa Mehri, who was booked for possessing illegal weapons and encounter with police. The court also imposed a fine of Rs150,000 on Mehri. He was arrested in an injured condition after a police encounter, in the jurisdiction of Kalri police station, while his accomplice fled from the spot.
