PPP to run movement against govt after Eid: Zardari

Zardari says there is not much difference between the current and past amnesty schemes

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) plans to run an organised movement against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government after Eidul Fitr, said the party's co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari.

“The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the economy cannot run together," said the former president outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC).


“There is not much difference between the current and past amnesty schemes. People who have some money will convert their black money into white. Make people rich first and then impose taxes on them,” said Zardari.

“After Eid, PPP will run a movement against the present government,” announced Zardari said and claimed, “the government is aware of our plans and this is why cases are being made.”
