RAWALPINDI:
A fresh wave of terrorism has caused security concerns amongst officials working at the district kuchehry and judicial complex where all the three walk-through metal detecting gates have lying broken for a while and the security cameras do not function properly either.
Of the 77 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed at the old district kuchehry in Rawalpindi, 28 do not work anymore while six others do not return clean video streams for recording footages.
Similarly, five of the 142 CCTV cameras installed at the judicial complex are out of order.
Further, the hand-held metal detectors have also ceased to function properly.
Despite the threats, the security system it seems has been left completely at the mercy of nature.
