FIR registered against unidentified persons for Satellite Town IED attack
At least four policemen embraced martyrdom and 12 others were injured in the IED attack

The first information report (FIR) of Monday night’s explosion near a mosque in Quetta’s Satellite Town was registered at a counter-terrorism department police station on Tuesday.
The case is filed against unidentified men under Anti-terrorism Act 1997 (ATA) and The Explosives Act.
At least four policemen embraced martyrdom and 12 others were injured when an improvised explosive device rigged to a motorcycle exploded near a mosque. The IED was reportedly targeting a police vehicle providing security to people offering Taraweeh at the mosque.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.

This is a second major attack in the south western province in the last four days. On Saturday, a five-star hotel came under attack when terrorists forced their way in.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press statement on Sunday that the security forces killed all three terrorists involved in the attack. At least five including four hotel employees and one Pakistan Navy soldier were martyred during the operation.
The military’s media wing said that six people including two army captain, two Pakistan Navy soldiers and two hotel employees were injured.
