A Pakistani national was executed in Saudi Arabia after he was found guilty on drugs charges.
Imran Haider, son of Ghulam Hussain, has been beheaded in Reform Jail, Dhaban area in Jeddah.
In December 2013, the convict had travelled from Sialkot International Airport to King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah where he was taken into custody by Saudi police after 500 grammes of heroin was recovered from his possession, said Anti-Narcotics Force spokesperson on Monday.

Haider was recently awarded capital punishment by the Saudi authorities, he added.
On April 11, Saudi Arabia’s interior ministry said that two Pakistani nationals, a husband and wife, had been executed for heroin smuggling.
Muhammad Mustafa and Fatima Ijaz were arrested “when they smuggled a quantity of heroin”.
