Devotees converge on Shah Noorani’s shrine for annual urs

Strict security arrangements have been made for the event

Many delegates from the United States and government officials were present at the seminar

QUETTA:
Devotees from across the country and abroad are arriving for the annual urs of Bilawal Shah Noorani, popularly known as Shah Noorani, to be held from May 15 to 18 (9 to 12 Ramazan).

Thousands of devotees are also approaching Hazrat Shah Noorani’s mausoleum on foot with a long line of them seen walking from Sehwan Sharif’s Dargah Dadu towards the mausoleum.

They are travelling through the rugged, mountainous areas of Durraji, Bolaak, Lasbela and Khuzdar to reach their destination, all of them being served Sehri and Iftar on the instruction of Balochistan Member of National Assembly and tribal chieftain Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal.


According to Kalat Division Commissioner Hafiz Muhammad Tahir, strict security arrangements have been made for the event with walk-through gates being installed at the entry and exit points of the mausoleum and police, the Balochistan Levies and private security guards being deputed around the site.

Thousands of Hazrat Sakhi Shah Bilawal Shah Noorani’s admirers are expected at his shrine for the religious festival.
