Four teams formed to ensure fire safety in Lahore
Various contractors show their consent to work on lower rates than stipulated rates

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Amna Imran has formed four teams to ensure emergency arrangements in case of fire incidents in high-rise buildings in the provincial capital.
Chief Town Plannner Nadeem Akhtar has also issued a notification in this regard. The officers, officials of Town Planning Wing and Building Control Directorate would be the members of these committees.
Meanwhile, various contractors have shown their consent to work on lower rates than stipulated rates on nine development schemes of LDA worth above Rs100 million.
