Terror threat foiled: IG police rewards technicians

Inspector General Sindh, Wajid Ali Durrani, gave Rs50,000 and appreciation letters to two Jinnah hospital technicians. Shehzad Mujahid and Ghulam Murtaza Hyderi helped the police defuse a 20-kilogramme explosive on Friday. It had been planted in a ground for Friday prayers in a residential colony. The IGP also announced a reward for Pir Shabbir Hyderi, the station house officer of Saddar police station.
