K-P govt likely to cut back on new projects
In the current financial year, the provincial government has allocated Rs180 billion for the 225 new projects

For completion of the on-going projects of the out-going financial year 2018-19 Annual Development Plan (ADP) the K-P government has placed fewer new development projects in the 2010-19 budget of the province.
The provincial government had allocated Rs180 billion for the 2018-19 ADP, in which Rs71 billion of the budget had been received through foreign grants and loans, while the rest are Rs108 billion went from government’s purse.
In the current financial year the provincial government has allocated Rs180 billion for the 225 new projects, while 1,155 on-going projects have been sponsored by the K-P government in the current financial year.
In budget 2019-20, K-P government has allocated more funds to the on-going development projects.
