If Saleena accomplishes this feat, she will break the record of US and India and will become the youngest mountain climber.
Young climber Saleena has completed the preparations to climb the Everest.
Saleena has climbed 5,735 meter long peak in Shamshal valley, and she says that her father Khwaja Yousuf, a physical instructor, has put in immense effort for her success.
“He encourages me a lot and whichever peaks I’ve climbed till now, he has always supported and encouraged me,” said Saleena.
Saleena climbed the Shamshal peak in winters and was awarded the title of the youngest mountain climber. She was also referred to as the ‘mountain queen’ after her feat.
However, after climbing the 5,765-meter long peak, Saleena is now aiming to climb the 8,848-meter tall Mount Everest.
Saleena met the senior provincial minister Atif Khan and told him that she is aiming to clim the Everest next year.
Atif said Saleena is Pakistan’s pride and he appreciated her passion.
