RAWALPINDI: The school children took part in clean and green campaign at Islamabad International Airport (IIA) yesterday. On direction of prime minister, the plantation drive under clean and green campaign is underway at IIA by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in which some 1,320000 saplings have been planted so far. The remaining count is 250000 saplings for which the civil society has also been kept on-board. The Secretary CAA, Shahrukh Nusrat , told that people should plant saplings and keep their surroundings clean. He invited the citizens to plant saplings of their names at IIA to turn the country green. He told the citizens would not have to pay a single penny to become part of the campaign.
