Army chief visits Rawalpindi's Central Ordnance Depot
Appreciates its role in safeguarding stocks for optimum use
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday appreciated the Central Ordnance Depot (COD) for reviving obsolete equipment and safeguarding stocks for optimum use in view of reducing the burden on the national exchequer.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military's media wing, the army chief visited various facilities and infrastructures of the depot handling a vast range of specialised equipment and clothing items.
