Pakistan clinch bronze at Junior Asia Hockey Cup
Young guns outclass hosts Singapore in classification match.

Pakistan’s young brigade secured a bronze medal at the Junior Asia Hockey Cup after a 6-0 win over hosts Singapore in the third place playoff match.
According to details, Pakistan dominated throughout the battle and scored three goals in each of the sessions to finish third in the tournament.
Waseem Abbas and Bilal Qadir were the leading scorers with a brace apiece while Arsalan Qadir and Mohammad Irfan were the other scorers.
Pakistan, who won the title two years ago in Myanmar, failed in their attempt to retain their crown this time around but put up an impressive show in the tournament. The former champions scored a total of 60 goals and conceded just two from six matches in the tournament.
Earlier, they beat Brunei 18-0, Chinese Taipei 17-0, Singapore 6-0 and Kazakhstan 12-0 before losing to South Korea in the semi-finals.
