HSSC exams begin in Rawalpindi
Some 71,853 candidates including 46,845 regular and 25,008 private students are expected to sit the exams
RAWALPINDI:
The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual intermediate exams started in Rawalpindi division on Monday under the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE). According to an RBISE spokesperson, 71,853 candidates including 46,845 regular and 25,008 private students are expected to sit the exams while 188 centre superintendents and 188 resident Inspectors have been appointed to invigilate. Stringent arrangements have been made to ensure transparent and smooth examinations. He added that a total of 188 examination centres have been set up, with special control rooms set up in four districts of the division. Moreover, he said a special cell had also been established up to address complaints of students. The RBISE chairman will review and act on all complaints. Students can contact the controller examinations on 051-5450917-18 to report any problem.
