South Punjab literary festival ends
Literary figures, scholars, students, poets attended the concluding ceremony

A two-day first South Punjab literary festival featuring dialogues, debates, seminar, art and culture promotional activities and traditional cuisines concluded at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) on Friday. Literary figures, scholars, students, poets, writers, teachers and art lovers from across the country attended the concluding ceremony held at the Bahauddin Zakariya University. Speaking on the occasion, BZU Vice Chancellor Dr Tariq Ansari underlined the need for making association of students with art and culture stronger to make them peaceful citizens. He said South Punjab had a distinct culture and appreciated the efforts of organisers for holding literary festival. A mushira (poetry recitation) and musical programme were also organised on the concluding day.
