QUETTA:
Asserting the patriotic credentials of the people of Balochistan, the provincial spokesperson of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Babar Yousafzai, said that both Pashtoon and Baloch residing in the province are committed to Pakistan.

The people will not be fooled in the name of nationalism as desired by those with nefarious designs, he said in a press statement. It said that Afghanistan and India were involved in financing anti-state activities to try and stir up trouble, particularly in the border areas. “But the people of Balochistan reject such attempts and the government would employ strict action against those involved in such acts,” it added.

Yousafzai also praised the services of law-enforcement agencies to restore peace in province. He added that the PTI would play a significant role in development and prosperity of Balochistan. It is included in the party manifesto that we would eradicate poverty from the province and establish lasting peace and prosperity, the statement added.
