Ali Zafar breaks down in tears over sexual harassment allegations

Ali Zafar broke down in tears while talking about allegations of sexual harassment levelled against him by Meesha Shafi live on national television. Zafar sat down with a private news channel to talk about the issue and stated “If sahe [Meesha] takes a step forward I’ll take ten steps forward.”  He went on to say that the whole ordeal has badly affected his career and family. Zafar urged her to resolve the matter. “We have known each other for a while now. Even our kids have played together” he said.

Aamir Liaquat to play freedom fighter Burhan Wani in upcoming film

Television host Aamir Liaquat recently revealed that he shall be taking on the role of a freedom fighter for an upcoming film directed by Ayub Khosa. The story will be centred on occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a morning show of a private channel, Khosa shared that he is hopeful his co-workers in the industry will offer their support to him. Liaquat shared that he does not consider himself a hero but that he believes Burhan Wani was most definitely a hero for the people of Kashmir.

Yasir Hussain clears the air on backlash received for making allegedly transphobic jokes

The Karachi Se Lahore actor has bagged a role in an upcoming tele-film titled Help Me Durdana. Yasir opted for a nonconventional role and was seen wearing a wig, saree and make-up as he shared a picture on Instagram. A user commented asking why the production didn’t hire an actual transgender, to which Hussain jokingly replied, “Do you want the job?” It triggered a series of comments, slamming him for making ‘transphobic’ jokes. Some users even demanded him to be removed from the cast. Yasir took to social media to share a statements saying the role is of his mother “I am not playing a transgender and by no means do I ever want to disrespect a gender that I have immense regard for” he said.

Pakistani Tyrion Lannister bags first advertisement

Rozi Khan recently rose to fame because of his striking resemblance to Peter Dinklage. Not only are Khan and Dinklage’s features similar, they are also the same height at around 135 cms (4 ft 5in). In the advert Khan is seen sporting blond locks, while different people mistake him for Tyrion Lannister. Khan said of his newfound fame, “I don’t mind. A lot of my pictures have been taken, that’s why I have become very famous everywhere.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently opened up a her struggling days and how her husband Saif Ali Khan’s support changed her outlook on life. She shared that she was told to reinvent and become size zero when she went a whole year without signing any projects. “Just when I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. He was so charming; I fell for him hook, line and sinker.” She shared it all started during the filming of Tashan. “We would go on long bike rides for some alone time. We would enjoy the beauty, have great conversations and just bond” she added.

Megan Fox files to dismiss divorce from husband Brian Austin Green

According to reports Hollywood actor Megan Fox and her husband Brian Austin Green, have filed papers at a court to dismiss their divorce case. The Transformer star filed for divorce in 2015 after five years of marriage to Green, citing irreconcilable differences. Then the two announced they were having a third child together and reconciled the following year.
