Can 'Heer Maan Ja' make us laugh more than its teaser?
Hareem Farooq and Ali Raheem Khan have serious on-screen chemistry, but the trailer isn't exactly hilarious.

The preview of the film isn't exactly hilarious, but we can't judge it just yet as the less than two-minute clip leaves us anticipating what's next.
PHOTO: SCREEN GRABHareem and Ali sizzle the screen with their on-screen chemistry, giving the teaser some much-needed zest. Although it doesn't reveal much of the storyline, apart from 'a love story that has a past', cute one-liners are seen and action-packed scenes that get us excited. Sassy conversations between the two are noted (we all got to love a bit of sass), as well as an energetic dance scene. The very dramatic car act with the duo also seems to symbolise their love story is a very bumpy ride. Hareem is also shown in a shaadi dress with a pair of white joggers, and Ali looking very muddled. Which, seems to set the scene of almost the entire trailer - a bit muddling.
Farah Khan has a good idea for 'Main Hoon Na 2'
Earlier in the year, Hareem said her character Heer is a textile designer with a sweet soul. Ali plays an uber-confident go-getter who continually runs into bad luck.
Heer Maan Ja boasts of a star-studded cast. So far, Aamina Sheikh, Ali Kazmi and Ahmed Ali Akbar can be seen. The 90’s Lollywood starlet Zara Sheikh also makes a big comeback.
PHOTO: SCREEN GRABHeer Maan Ja doesn't seem like as much of a rom-com as it might be an action comedy, with a lack of romantic scenes. However, the trailer seemed to be met with a positive response so far as it trended on Twitter after an hour of its release.
PHOTO: SCREEN GRABThe blockbuster is directed by Azfar Jafri and produced by IRK Films and Arif Lakhani Films; the flick will hit cinemas on Eid-ul-Azha 2019.
