Hockey: Pakistan reach four-nation final
Ireland only managed to score a goal in the second-half as Pakistan sealed the victory.
KARACHI:
Pakistan hockey team defeated Ireland 2-1 in the UCD Four-Nation Hockey Tournament in Dublin to qualify for the final of the tournament. Waseem Ahmed and Sohail Abbas scored a goal each as the Greenshirts led 2-0 at the interval. Ireland only managed to score a goal in the second-half as Pakistan sealed the victory. Pakistan will be playing the final against the hosts. The team had earlier defeated China 3-2 and lost their opening match to France 4-2.
