Pakistan’s Owais wins bronze in Asian Junior Karate Championship
Wins in -75kg category during event held in Malaysia
LAHORE:
Mohammad Owais was able to make it to the podium for Pakistan during the recently concluded Asian Junior Karate Championship.
Owais was participating in the event in the -75kg category where he won bronze.
What is inspiring is that Owais was just one of the two athletes who were sent by the Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) to participate in the event in Malaysia.
He and his partner were not accompanied by any official or a coach due to the lack of funds.
The PKF congratulated Owais and hoped that he will be able to bring more laurels for Pakistan in the future.
