Get into the shaadi spirit all over again with the new song upcoming film Chhalawa. The rom-com's title track is sure to get your spirits high as vibrant colours and dancing crowds set the theme right from the start.

The zesty intro leads you into a beautiful wedding setting, with colourful decorations and vivacious shaadi wear. Mehwish Hayat bedazzles in lime green and orange accented lengha as she takes centre stage and begins her performance. The actor plays a reluctant bride in the film who is being pushed to marry against her will, but you can’t tell during this track.
Sung by Nirmal Roy, Neha Chaudhry, Aashir Wajahat and Jabbar Abbas, the vocals are strong and the exotic beats get us in a celebratory mood. The catchy rhythm and fun lyrics are a sure way to get stuck in our heads all day long.
Mehwish twirls around the dance floor in the music video, she cheekily greets her love interest in the film - played by Dugdugi heartthrob Azfar Rehman - who travels all the way to her Punjabi hometown to win her father over.
PHOTO: SCREENGRABZara Noor Abbas looks ravishing as the wedding crowd cheers on her solo dance moves. The star, who takes on the role of Mehwish’s sister and has quirks of her own, stuns in royal blue. Rehman then leads his boys onto the dance floor while the camera pans to a splendid group dance with all the main characters of the movie.
As Chhalawa is obviously based around a wedding, the atmosphere of the video is bubbly, bright and exultant.

Chhalawa seems to be similar to Punjab Nahi Jaungi, with Punjabi vibes and Mehwish playing a bride again. Let’s hope it brings its own touch!
