LAHORE: Punjab Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Rai Taimoor Bhatti approved funds for constructing sports complexes in 14 tehsils across the province. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by the minister at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday'

A sports complex will be constructed in 14 tehsils across Punjab including Chua Saiden Shah, Pind Dadan Khan, Jalalpur Jattan, Bhera, Mianwali, Depalpur, Pakpattan, Yazman, Hasilpur, Bahawalnagar, Chishtian, Liaqatpur, Taunsa Sharif and Kot Addu.

Speaking at the meeting, the minister said that sports projects are being completed in the province under the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. “The funds have been released and the projects will be completed as early as possible to provide modern sports facilities to talented individuals in the province,” he maintained. He added that in the coming years, sports complexes will be built in every tehsil in the province. He directed officials to begin construction as soon as possible.
