Standing wheat crops on 10 acres land were burnt and two goats were burnt alive in separate incidents in Faisalabad on Thursday. A police spokesman told APP on Thursday that due to windstorms, 10 acres of wheat crops caught fire in Chak No 2 Ramdewali, Adda Buchiana Nankana Road, Chak 382-GB Syed Wala Raod and Chiniot Road Jhumra. After receiving information, firefighters of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and controlled the fire after hectic efforts. Two goats were burnt alive in these incidents. The police lodged complaints of these incidents separately and further investigation was in progress.
