Women lawmakers call out PM Imran Khan, demand apology

Not a slip of tongue, says PPP lawmaker

The National Assembly session on Thursday was once again marred with protests, as the women lawmakers from opposition took serious offence to Prime Minister Imran Khan calling Pakistan Peoples Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari sahiba (miss).

The women surrounded Speaker Asad Qaiser's podium and chanted "go Imran go".

PPP lawmaker Nafeesa Shah remained at the forefront of the protest and condemned the prime minister's remarks. She said that this was not a slip of tongue as it was now being casually used.

"If Prime Minister Imran Khan will not come to the National Assembly session and apologise not only to Bilawal but also to the women present here, he will not be the prime minister in my eyes," Shah said.

Rami | 5 years ago | Reply Nafisa shah should be offended that majority of sindh women suffer from anemia , they are malnourished ,they give birth in fields while working ! Also, the big landlords,PPP ministers, pick up any women or girl they wants , this is the reality nafisa shah needs to answer for, PPP, is a criminal level mafia party, poltics is the last thing on their agendas !
