Multilateralism helps find common ground to solve conflicts

Peace, and the quest to attain it, is central to religions, polities, societies and humanity in the world.
This was stated by National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui while addressing a seminar on “multilateralism and diplomacy for peace” on Wednesday.
The seminar had been held at NUML and had been organised by the Department of International Relation, Peace and Conflict Studies and Pakistan Studies along with the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS) and the United Nation Information Centre (UNIC). The seminar was held to commemorate the United Nations (UN) International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace.
