Desilting campaign to continue: WASA
Work at all lines and branches in the area to be carried out during the night

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has directed that the desilting campaign should continue in the area in order to resolve sewerage issues faced by the people. Work at all lines and branches in the area will be carried out during the night.
WASA has prepared an emergency plan to provide immediate relief to citizens in 13 different areas. Under this plan, it has been directed that the desilting campaign will in the entire area for a week.
WASA Deputy Managing Director Service Jabar Anwar Chaudhry said that staff have been directed to continue desilting campaign for one week in the entire area for solving sewerage issues faced by the people in Shamsabad, Ali Afghan Park, Imdad Town, Hameed Park, Azhar Town, Sufiyan Town and Munir park.
He maintained that a base camp is being established in the area where staff will be present to resolve people’s issues.
