Finance dept sets April 30 deadline
The provincial exchequer has asked K-P government institutions to stop using funds allocated for various projects

The K-P finance department has directed all the government institutions to reconcile accounts of project funds until April 30. According to an official circular, the provincial exchequer has asked K-P government institutions to stop using funds allocated for various projects. “All allocated funds will be considered returned to central pool after passing the due date of June 30,” the statement said. The departments would have to take prior permission from the treasury for the utilisation of the allocated funds until the new financial year starts.
