Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court on Wednesday, Radio Pakistan reported.
Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa administered the oath at a ceremony in Islamabad.
The ceremony was attended by judges and lawyers of the Supreme Court.
Justice Muhammad Amin Ahmed had served as a judge of the Lahore High Court from November 2014 to March 2019.
