Iqra Aziz thanks her mother for raising her a strong, hardworking woman

Iqra Aziz is on a roll.

The actor rose to fame with Farhan Saeed-starrer, Suno Chanda which was then renewed for a sequel, due out this Ramazan. In the interim, Iqra is flying high on the success of her most recent drama Ranjha Ranjha Kardi. And true to her adorable personality, she credits all her success to a 'someone special.' And it's none other than her mother.

Taking to Instagram, the starlet shared a picture of her mom with a heartfelt note.

"I couldn’t help post this beautiful picture of my special one," she started. "Har beti ya beta kehty hain k humari ammi duniya ki sabsy achi ammi hain aur main bhi yahi sochti hun. Lekin ap ideal hain meri aur aj main jesi bhi insaan hun, sab apko dekh k seekha hai aur apki tarbiyat hai. (Everyone believes that their mom is the world's best mother and I'm the same. But you are my ideal Ammi, and whatever I am today, I owe to you and your upbringing.)

She went on, "Apka shukriya apnay is duniya k sary fazool asulon ko tora aur apni betiyon ko itna strong aur hardworking banaya aur sikhaya k koi cheez zindagi main mehnat k beghair hasil nahi.
Main apsay bohat pyaar karti hun. (I'm so grateful that you broke this world's silly rules and raised your daughters to be hardworking and strong and taught us that we can't achieve anything in this world without hard work)."
