Health minister kick-starts polio drive
Three-day anti-polio campaign commenced on Monday

Balochistan Health Minister Naseebullah Khan Marri on Monday inaugurated three-day anti polio campaign by administering anti-polio drops to children below 5 years of age at Kuhlo district headquarters hospital.
“No negligence would be tolerated in the provision of quality health services,” said Marri.
Kuhlo Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Khan Khosa, District Health Officer Dr Shair Zaman Marri, Medical Superintendent Dr Attaullah Marri, Public-Private Health Initiative’s DSM Rafiq Buzdar, Mir Nasar Ahmed accompanied the health minister.
Health Minister Marri reviewed other sectors of district headquarters hospital facilities, saw the patients and inquired after their health.
He said district hospital was fully functional and there is no shortage of staff or medicines, adding the government was striving hard to provide better medical facilities. The minister said he would soon inspect other district headquarters hospitals.
