Celebs are furiously calling out authorities after Nishwa’s tragic death
Big names such as Ahsan Khan, Xulfi and Ali Rehman Khan are pulling no punches in calling out the authorities
A minor girl died on Monday after she was administered the wrong dosage of medicine by a private hospital in Karachi. Nine-month-old Nishwa was administered an injection in Darul Sehat Hospital which increased her heartbeat abnormally
Needless to say this made everyone furious and celebrities such as Ahsan Khan, Xulfi and Ali Rehman Khan are pulling no punches while calling out the authorities.
Ahsan Khan
"A hospital is a health care institution providing patient treatment with specialised medical and nursing staff and medical equipment,
But in our country the case is different! How low as humans could we get? Brutality is on the rise right now, human beings are neglecting their psyche to a very low gigantic extinct," he wrote. "The brutality has reached an absolute pinnacle of evil,the urge to commit crimes has increased! Unfortunately there are humans in every nation who are “diseased” with this sort of addiction to brutal behaviour! Shame on the authorities, utter disappointment."
Ali Rehman Khan
"The whole country mourns for Nishwa today. Medical malpractice is a scary reality in Pakistan where practitioners escape accountability and criminal sentences. Imran Khan’s govt need to start clamping down on this," the Parchi actor wrote on Twitter.
Xulfi
"Saddest to the core. How can a hospital, a place where people come to save their and their loved ones lives, be so under-prepared and negligent. Don’t they know their actions can end lives? When they are touted as the most noble profession, how can they not understand the importance of preparation," the Nescafe Basement producer penned. "It’s a matter of life and death. We lack training in every profession. We need to open our eyes collectively and socially to understand that standards for everything need to be raised drastically for the sake of our lives. Our loved one’s lives. I’m broken by this incident. May your soul rest in peace and may the culprits be taken to task for their wrongdoings."

The infant was shifted to the hospital’s ICU where she was placed on a ventilator. According to the report of the CT scan administered at the hospital, Nishwa had become mentally paralysed.
