Rs2b approved for Chagai schemes: minister
Reiterates commitment to provide education, health, drinking water, communications and other basic facilities

Provincial Finance Minister Mir Mohammad Arif Mohammad Hassani says over Rs2 billion have been approved for several development schemes for Chagai district while talking to different delegations during his visit in Dalbandin, Aminabad and Chagai.
He said district Chagai would be linked to neighbouring districts through roads. Besides that, black top roads would be built to connect villages on the Pak-Afghan and Pak-Iran borders with the RCD Highway and the main cities.
He added that drinking water projects were being prepared for Dalbandin, Yakmach, Chagai and Taftan to address the challenges of water scarcity.
While exchanging views with local representatives, the finance minister stated that four emergency centres would be built along the RCD highway in Chagai district to ensure treatment could be provided in emergencies on short distances.
