CM orders action ordered against land settlement officers causing delays

Directs all land settlement officers to share details of land cases

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani on Thursday directed all land settlement officers to share details of land cases, while instructing authorities to identify officers causing delays.

Expressing indignation over delays in land settlements, he ordered take strict against such officers while asking to be regularly updated on progress at the tehsil and district level.

All settlement officers have been asked to submit details of their settlements in the Chief Minister Secretariat on priority basis.

Tube well verification

CM Kamal has directed authorities to complete verification of subsidised tube wells in Balochistan and submit details in the energy department meeting on April 30.

The energy department and divisional commissioners have been asked to complete the verification process before the next meeting, while instructing divisional commissioners to attend the meeting through video links.

Housing legislation

The chief minister directed the planning and development (P&D) department  to finalise bill of new legislation for Balochistan Housing Authority. He also directed the authorities of P&D department to submit the bill in the next cabinet meeting, after which it would be presented in the Balochistan Assembly for debate.
