Drugs Den Targeted: Three killed in Mustung grenade attack

The assailants managed to escape on motorcycles.

QUETTA: Three people were killed and four others sustained splinter wounds in a hand grenade attack on a drugs den in Mastung district, some 35 km south of Quetta on Thursday. “The victims were drug addicts,” an official of Balochistan Levies claimed. According to Levies official Mohammad Ismail, unidentified men lobbed a hand grenade inside the extension of a house, which was used as a drugs den, operated by Jumma Lahri in Pirangabad area. Two people were killed on the spot and five were injured when the grenade exploded. The assailants managed to escape on motorcycles. The deceased were identified as Ghulam Farooq, Mohammad Akbar and Saifullah.
