Rawalpindi General Headquarters (GHQ) Inspector General Training and Evaluation (IGTE) Lt Gen Sher Afgun paid a visit to National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) yesterday.

Soon after his arrival, the IGTE had a one-on-one meeting with NUST Rector Lt Gen (Retd) Naweed Zaman at the latter’s office.

The IGTE received a comprehensive briefing on NUST, particularly highlighting the infrastructural development at NUST new campus in Quetta, and Pakistan’s first-ever National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) at NUST Islamabad campus which is expected to be launched soon.

The IGTE praised the university’s management, faculty and staff for their committed and concerted efforts towards developing the university and keeping it at par with global standards.

After the briefing session, the IGTE was conducted to NUST Medical Devices Development Centre.
