Storm – what storm? (II)
KARACHI:
I went to a shop near Seaview on Sunday and was surprised to see many shops open. And not a single shopkeeper had taken even the slightest of precautionary measures. Even more surprising was the attitude of the shopkeepers who were actually saying that the cyclone was another of the many excuses that the government was using to close their shops. I wonder what it will take for people to have the sense to actually take some precautions if and when this happens again.
