9 PIMS doctors promoted

The federal health secretary has promoted nine doctors of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) from basic pay scale (BPS) grade 18 to the next grade. The approval was given in light of recommendations from the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Pims which is headed by the hospital’s Executive Director (ED) Dr Amjad Mehmood. A Pims spokesperson said that Dr Amir Maqbool, Dr Fauzia, Dr Waseem Khawaja, Dr Hafiz Ahmed, Dr Noureen Haider, Dr Mohammad Ramzan, Dr Amir Salim, Dr Tabassum Qamar and Dr Asma Afridi have been promoted to BPS-19.
