Cheating Charges: PPP leader sent to jail

KARACHI: Judicial Magistrate Nadeem Badar Qazi sent Engr. Wali Muhammad Rahimoon, a Pakistan Peoples Party leader, to jail till July 6 in a cheating case. On Thursday, the accused was presented before the judicial magistrate in a case (FIR No. 231/2011) at the Boat Basin police station. Rahimoon was arrested by the police on Wednesday and the FIR was filed under Pakistan Penal Code sections 420, for cheating and dishonesty, 406 for criminal breach of trust and 504 for criminal intimidation.
